然后，今天有人（以前的学生）给我在我的留言板上留了言，原文如下：
As both of us are educators in one capacity or another, I feel it is incumbent among us to not express statements that bear ill will or resentment, whatever our personal opinions be, out of respect for the sacred position we occupy as teachers. If she was your student, or my student, we can be pretty sure our very livelihoods would be in jeopardy. But this is a good thing, because as educators we must remain above the fray and advocate for the rights of people to express opinions, no matter how cloudy or offensive or objectionable they may be, even if it risks condemnation (and even threats of harm) from either side. I have to think that the great master himself, Confucius, would agree.

That said, I hope your time in ×××× has been most productive. I miss the good times I had in ×××.
